Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops
Every November, I lobby with my husband about how soon we can break out the moose mugs and put up the Christmas tree. We just had our first snow of the season, which I interpreted as carte blanche to blare Swingin' Christmas on Pandora and make this simple but festive pre-holiday recipe. With four ingredients, it doesn't get any easier than this.
Apple Cinnamon Pork Chops
4 pork chops
1 apple (I use Fuji), cored, peeled, and thinly sliced
1.5 tablespoons cinnamon
2-3 tablespoons butter
Preheat oven to 350. Place chops in a glass baking dish and top with apple slices. Sprinkle a fine layer of cinnamon over the apples, and put a pat of butter on top of each chop. Bake for 30-40 minutes.
