Store-bought pints of sugar-laden ice cream are a thing of the past, thanks to the brilliant invention known as nice cream (a.k.a. banana ice cream). This vegan recipe is so naturally sweet and refreshing that it could convert even the staunchest of ice cream zealots. It's also a snap to make.
Springtime and the Nice Cream is Easy
2 sliced ripe bananas, frozen
1 cup sliced frozen strawberries
1/3 cup frozen raspberries
2 tablespoons raw smooth almond butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a food processor until ice-cream-like consistency is reached. Freeze in an airtight container for 15 minutes, then serve immediately.
